Summary:
Attention Please! follows Misaki Yoko who sets her sights on becoming a Cabin Attendant after the man she's in love with, who is also in her rock band, says he'd like to see her in a uniform. But she struggles with it. Yoko is very strong willed and a tomboy, and she must become respectful and very lady like. Though she struggles, she never gives up. She also meets Nakahara Shota, a man training to become a airplane mechanic. They become friends and cheer each other on through their trials to make their dreams come true.
It's been a while since I watched this, but I'll try and remember as much of it as I can.
At first I wasn't sure just how a show about cabin attendants would be, but because it was such a strange idea I had to watch it. It ended up being really interesting! I loved Yoko's spunkiness, and she never loses it, even as she became more dedicated to becoming a cabin attendant. Yoko and Shota's relationship was really sweet, they became very supportive for each other.
This show follows Yoko's growth from a spunky, tomboy into a woman who can look back on her life and not be regret anything. This is the main reason I really liked Attention Please!, because it wasn't just a love story (I don't even remember there being much of a love-triangle at all) it was about growing up and not forgetting who you are.

Characters:
Ueto Aya as Misaki Yoko
Nishikido Ryo as Nakahara Shota

I really liked Yoko, she was a very strong female character, she was so funny and kind. When some of the other cabin attendants would pick on her friend or her, she did whatever she could to make things right, not caring if she was made a fool of herself or not. Along with her strengths though, she is kind of love sick. The whole reason behind her becoming a cabin attendant was to impress the guy she was in love with. But when she was turned down she didn't give up, she kept going and became a cabin attendant to prove to herself that she could. Yoko is also a bit dense, she can't really read the situations even when they're so obvious.
I've always really liked Ueto Aya, she always plays great characters. She's funny when the time calls for it, and a sensitive friend when someone needs a shoulder to cry on.

Nakahara Shota was such a sweet character. He bonded so well with Yoko and was always there to help her. He was a bit of a push over, mainly because Yoko had such a strong personality, but he was also too kind I want to say. Shota never really spoke up for his own feelings and lets Yoko walk over him a bit. But even in spite of this, he is a huge support for Yoko when she can't hold herself up.
Nishikido Ryo is a great actor. He has a strong presence and great emotion. I have yet to see one of his characters that I didn't like.

Theme Song:

The theme song for Attention Please! is "Oh Pretty Woman" by Kimura Kaela.
